Counselor | Teisha Parchment holds a Master’s degree in Education: Counseling from Portland State University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Prek-12 Certified School Counselor. Much of her professional experience has focused on promoting wellness in schools for staff, students and families across various socio-economic, religious and ethnic backgrounds. She has experience as a Child and Family Therapist, Trauma Recovery Facilitator and as a Prevention and Intervention Services Manager. For the last 7 years, she has worked as a School Counselor in private, public, independent and non-profit schools providing professional development trainings for staff, facilitating parent workshops and implementing innovative school counseling programs. She recently created a Social Emotional Wellness Lab which will be featured in the upcoming publication of Early Childhood Education Today.
