Dear VCELS Families,

The past month has included some special events and memorable activities at the Early Learning School. Each Monday we gather for prayer time and talk with our students about how they can share God’s love. It is a great way to start our week and helps them understand how to be kind and loving children of Christ. Students also enjoyed various activities as they prepared for Halloween and the annual costume parade around campus.  This event gave us the opportunity to see our Valiant family and continue building the VC community. We also had visits from our first grade buddies. We read together and shared an art activity while the older students visited Maryville and Memory Care bringing smiles to all.

As we begin the month of November, our focus we will be on a service project called Operation Christmas Child.  Operation Christmas Child delivers gifts and needed supplies to children around the world. We hope to fill several boxes with gifts, school supplies, hygiene items, and a toy for children ages 2-14.  More information regarding this service project will be sent home with the children soon.

As always, thank you for trusting us with your child and for making VCELS part of your family.

Respectfully,
Veronica Beck, Principal
