Dear Families,

Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families and enjoyed the break. It is always nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some time relaxing. We are very excited to be back with our students and to start the new year on a strong note.

The weather can be unpredictable at this time of year. Please send a winter coat – along with a hat and gloves/mittens – for your child. We watch the temperature closely but we do try to spend some time outside if it isn’t too cold. Being appropriately dressed will help your child be more comfortable playing outside or on a walk.

At the end of this month, we will celebrate national Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme is: “Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.” During Catholic Schools Week, we celebrate our school and what it means to us to belong to this community. You will hear more about our plans to celebrate this week as it draws near.

On Saturday, February 10, Valley Catholic School will host its annual Gala. This is a wonderful event that supports all Valley Catholic students from our early learning school through high school. It is a night to show our support for our school, celebrate our campus community and have fun. Tickets are on sale now. It would be wonderful to see some of our early learning school families at the Gala.

In Christ,

Melissa Doxtator
