Dear Families,

What a fun month we have had at Valley Catholic Early Learning School! The Halloween costume parade was a huge success. Our students had so much fun and the other schools, and offices on campus loved seeing their costumes and smiling faces. (Enjoy a delightful photo album of Halloween 2017 at Valley Catholic.) Along with Halloween, we have been talking with our students about All Saints Day.  Preschool students attended Mass on November 1 – All Saints Day –  with the other students on campus. They had lots of questions about the saints, so don’t be surprised if they ask you at home!

This month we will hold parent/teacher conferences so that you can hear – directly from the teachers – how your child is doing at school. There will be a sign-up sheet at the front desk for a day and time on either November 15 or November 16. This is a great time to bring any questions you have about your child – or our program – to your teacher’s attention. If the available dates and times do not fit your schedule, we will be happy to work out another time to meet.

We are beginning a service project called Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child provides gifts and essential items to children around the world, who would otherwise go without. Our goal this year is to have 100 shoeboxes filled with gifts, school supplies, hygiene items and toys or gifts for children ages 2-14.  For $9, you can also pay for the shipping of your box and then your family can pray together for the child that receives your box. Look for more information and sample boxes in our lobby. You can even pick up a box from us or use your own. Watch this video to see how your shoebox can change a child’s life.

In Christ,
