We also offer boys lacrosse as a club sport.
We are proud of Lindsie LaBonte, 3A "Player of the Year," and the two other Valiants who were named to the 3A Girls Basketball Teams.
Congratulations to Valley Catholic Athletic Director Joel Sobotka – honored by the Oregon Athletic Directors Association (OADA) as the recipient of 3A Rookie of the Year Award.
In both the Meet of Champions and the Lower Columbia Invitational, most of the athletes set season and and/or lifetime personal records.
Vote from every device--smart phone, computer and notebook--to honor Valiant Sam Teague as Athlete of the Week.
It was OSAA Champions Night at the Moda Center on Sunday, April 6, and our varsity boys basketball team members and coach Joel Sobotka were among those being honored.
At the Marist Invitational in Eugene on April 4, Valley Catholic competed against 11 other teams teams—eight of those were 5A or 6A. The boys placed eighth; the girls third.
Of the eight schools competing, Valley Catholic was the only 3A school. Junior Ryan Schmidlin of VCHS was the tournament medalist, and the team finished third.
Both our girls and boys team continue to stay strong in the 3A coaches polls.
