Valley Catholic made the move up in classifications this year to the 4A level and joined the very competitive Cowapa League. Here are the student-athletes and coaches who earned all-league honors for the 2014 fall sports season.

Kayla Crandall was named Coach of the Year and six Valiants were named to the All-League First Team - including Sarah Connelly - who was named Co-player of the Year. Two more Valiants received honorable mention. They play for the championship Saturday, Nov. 15.

To win back-to-back championships is impressive. To win the second in the first year in a new classification is remarkable. The team has been ranked top in the nation among DII schools and will compete in the Nike Regional Meet in Boise on Nov. 15.

On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the Valley Catholic girls soccer shut out Elmira 5-0 to advance to the State quarterfinals. They will face Philomath this Saturday, Nov. 8 on their home turf at 4 p.m.
