Parent Meg Bishop and her volunteers gave the children of Valley Catholic Elementary School a huge scare — in a good way — at the mid-October Halloween Carnival. Everyone enjoyed the classic haunts, the inflatable obstacle course, assorted games and time in the treat booth. The carnival was well attended with kids in costumes everywhere, from a cheerleader, to masked horrors, to super heroes. The haunted house remained the star attraction with long lines to get in the entire night.
