Two Valley Catholic students will race this winter within the local Metro Ski League. Training and coaching has been arranged through the Southridge-Aloha Ski Team and will include Wednesday night training up at Ski Bowl (a bus is provided) and coached races every Saturday in January and February. Currently there is room on the bus for five or six more racers and we would love to have more students from Valley Catholic.

Metro League ski racing does not require any previous racing experience and includes skiers, both boys and girls, of many different levels of ability. Last year both VCS students who raced under this arrangement qualified and competed in the State championship. We have high hopes for this year too!
