Scrip Program Returns, Includes all VCS Schools

Submitted by VCES Parent Laura Kuhner

It’s easy to help raise funds for your child’s school while doing your everyday shopping by participating in our scrip program, which is now being made available to all campus parents.

What is Scrip?

Scrip is a certificate or card issued by a participating store that can be used like cash. You can buy your grocery, restaurant, movie, coffee house cards and much, much more through our school scrip program. Each of the businesses will contribute a certain percentage of the price of your scrip purchase back to VCS!

You may recall in the past that proceeds from scrip were set aside as part of the money the VALOR group was fundraising to help balance the ES school budget. Now that we are selling scrip to our entire school community, proceeds from its sales will benefit programs and activities for students of all ages at VCS.

How to Participate

The scrip team is now accepting orders until the last Monday of each month. The scrip will be delivered to your child by Friday of the week the orders are due. Deliveries will be made to all three school buildings; please include the delivery information on the order form.

This month’s orders can be submitted until Monday, Jan. 30 at 8 a.m. Drop your completed forms, including payment, at the VCEMS office or email your order to scrip@valleycatholic.org.

Download the new 2012 VCS Scrip Form here or pick one up in the VCEMS office.

To keep costs low, we do not accept credit cards. Please make checks payable to VCS.

Thank you so much for your continued support to the scrip fundraising program!
