A total of 38 Catholic Youth Organization athletes from grades 5 through 8 qualified last weekend for a top-eight finish at the Meet of Champions, and two students set new records. Two divisions competed at the meet, with one for grades 5 and 6 (Cubs) and another for grades 7 and 8 (Cadets). Eighth-grade students David Boss and David Carbonari set VCMS records among the 8oom and the turbo javelin, respectively.

• 4 x 400 relay (Cadets) – Third Place (JD Menkens, Michael Alfieri, David Boss, Robert Mitchell)
• 4 x 400 relay (Cubs) – Seventh Place (Nathan Silenzi, Jack Grasberger, Sam Karlin, Michael Boss)
