Last year Valley Catholic’s 7th-grade girls won the CYO City Championship basketball game. An hour and a half later, in the second half of the championship doubleheader, the Valiant boys had matched the girls by also winning the City Championship. This year both teams again won the regular-season championships and entered the tournament as #1 seeds. Once again each team won its way through the tournament to the Championship game and on Sunday, March 15 repeated last year’s great night, sweeping another Championship double-header. The girls defended their title by besting St. Joseph, Vancouver and the boys by defeating St. Clare. Congratulations to the 8th-grade Valiants on a very rare double-double
