Valley Catholic's rich tradition of musical excellence comes alive with choir, orchestra, band, jazz band, pep band, women's chorale, varsity singers, string ensemble and handbells attracting talented students from throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

In addition, thirteen music faculty members provide private lessons in all orchestral instruments and voice to nearly 200 students (K-12) on the SSMO campus.

During the holiday season, Valley Catholic musicians offer performances throughout the area.  Their campus concerts are among the most eagerly awaited events of the school year.

The arts are an intrinsic part of the Valley Catholic program - so much so that students can earn a letter in any fine arts category.
