Parents packed the
Valley Catholic library to hear from the Principal,
Dean, and teachers during Valley Catholic
Middle School Open House

Valley Catholic Middle School students score well above average on nationally standardized examinations and are praised for the readiness for high school.

First, educators will determine whether a student meets Valley Catholic's academic and behavioral standards, as assessed by placement test scores, grades and teacher recommendations, and parent and student interviews. Once these criteria are met, other preference factors may be considered.

Applications forms are available beginning January 24th, 2008 at the Parent Information Night. Copies will be available in the front office or on the Valley Catholic website beginning Friday, January 25th, 2008.

A completed application package includes:

  • An application form
  • Copies of the student's report cards for the most recent spring and fall semesters
  • A teacher recommendation form
  • Completion of the Placement Test
  • A copy of behavioral records (Some schools, including St. Mary of the Valley School, include this on their report cards.)
  • Completion of a school visitation day and/or a student interview (Unless otherwise noted, current St. Mary of the Valley students are exempt from the visitation and student interview portion of the application process.)
