In the fall of 2008, St. Mary of the Valley School will open its doors as Valley Catholic Elementary School serving grades K-6. We are thrilled to be unifying with the middle and high school and begin sharing the name of Valley Catholic. We are building a new website to reflect this change, but in the meantime, to find information on our current elementary school offering, you may click here.
Our child development center, Little Flower, will also share Valley’s name by this fall calling itself Valley Catholic Early Learning School. Until our new website is constructed, please click here to find information about our Early Learning program for infants through age 12, offering child care, preschool and after school care.
 Valley Catholic is unique in the greater Portland area. No other school combines such an ambitious academic program, championship athletics, excellent arts, and faithful spirit with Valley's moderate size; close, friendly community; and opportunity for all.

Excellence in academics: 20 AP and Honors courses (to name just a few: Calculus AB and BC,  Physics B and C; two sections of AP Biology; Fifth-year Japanese, Spanish and French; AP Music Theory); topflight college counseling and placement
Excellence in athletics: Valiant teams are 2007 State Champions in boys' basketball and softball and State runner-up in girls' basketball. Last season's baseball team was 26-1. Last year, 15 of Valley's 18 teams played in State tournaments. This fall, Valley fields its first-ever football team.
 Excellence in the arts: Full orchestra, string ensemble, show band, jazz band, pep band, liturgy band, varsity choir, men's choir, women's choir; fall Shakespeare production, spring musical; 2007 Oregon State Champion and Second-place pianists, 2007 Oregon State Champion Harpist
