Elementary School

ACTIVITIES

Students at Valley Catholic Elementary School have the opportunity to participate in a variety of different educational and formative activities. Many enjoy serving on our Student Council that looks to build community within our school and provides service to the school and the Beaverton area. Our Elementary School music department offers orchestra, choir, and handbells as after-school activities. Our Music School offers private music lessons for voice and instruments. These lessons can be scheduled during the school day or after school. Extracurricular sports are sponsored by the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and include football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, track and field, and lacrosse. After school, we presently offer Spanish, French, and Mandarin instruction through “Kids Like Languages,” Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chess Club, Girls Inc. (a girls club), art instruction classes, and a “Mad Science” program.

VCES VALOR NETWORK

Our school’s parents are active in our school events and activities. The VCES VALOR Network (formerly called the PTC) provides support to our program through its organization of volunteers and event planning.
