Shannon Murray
This is Shannon Murray’s second year at Valley Catholic. She teaches 6th grade Language Arts and 7th grade religion. Shannon majored in psychology at Willamette University where she earned the Alumni Honors Scholarship. She also obtained her Masters in Teaching degree at Willamette, receiving the Mary Stuart Rogers Award for her strength in service and leadership. During her student teaching experience, she conducted an action research project on the effect of positive reinforcement management style on student behavior. Shannon has worked with children in a variety of settings for the last seven years, including as an assistant teacher in a crisis relief nursery, a lodge supervisor at summer camp, and an after school program instructor
