Pat Thomas currently teaches Global Studies, U.S. History, and freshman English. Pat graduated from St. George’s School in Spokane, where he was co-Athlete of the Year, playing baseball and basketball and running cross country. A National Merit and Whitman Presidential Scholar, Pat earned his B.A. in History at Whitman College, where he was also a starting pitcher and two-year baseball captain. He holds, also, a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Pacific University. Before joining Valley’s faculty, Pat taught English at Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett, Washington, serving also as assistant boys’ varsity basketball coach. After coaching three years as an assistant, Pat is now the Valiants’ head baseball coach and this year will coach his fifth season as an assistant with the girls’ basketball program.
