Phil McQueen
Phil McQueen currently teaches U.S. History and three perennially popular electives, the American Civil War, World War II, and Vietnam. Phil earned his B.A. and M.A. from Portland State and has taught history at Valley Catholic since 1979. He lists the year of his birth as “85 years after the Battle of Kenasaw Mountain” and now spends many weekends in Civil War reenactments, fighting as both a Reb and a Yank. His most recent accomplishment was at last winning his baseball fantasy league. Phil and his wife Dorothy have three children and three grandchildren.
