Natalie Sims became Valley Catholic’s high-school librarian in the fall of 2011. Natalie has a B.A. in history from Willamette and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from UCLA. Prior to coming to Valley, Natalie worked in Archives and Special Collections at the William H. Hannon Library at Loyola Marymount University and in the Braun Research Library at UCLA, focusing on archival collections related to Native American associations. In keeping with her interest in Northwest history, Natalie also worked as an intern at the Salem Pioneer Cemetery, assisting in the development of an online database for pioneer cemeteries and researching pioneers in 19th and early 20th-century newspapers.
