Marie Scull
Marie, a native Oregonian, grew up in southeast Portland, and has been working in an educational setting for over ten years. Marie earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, where she majored in Liberal Studies, and spent a semester in Rome, Italy, studying Art History. Later, Marie went on to earn a Master’s degree in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College, where she further cultivated what is becoming a life-long passion for education and service. Marie previously taught at the Portland French School as both a middle school Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, in addition to overseeing the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Program as Coordinator. In her time, Marie enjoys reading, camping, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Wally. 2011 is her first year at Valley and Marie has said she is excited to be part of such an amazing community.
