Jessi Van Der Volgen
Jessi Van Der Volgen joined the Valley Catholic faculty in 2005 and teaches Biology, Honors Biology, and Advanced Placement Biology. Jessi earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Portland, where she was awarded the Teaching from the Heart Award. While at UP, Jessi was also awarded a National Science Foundation grant for undergraduate research. During her time at Valley she has received the Murdock Partners in Science Award for research at the Oregon National Primate Center and the SSMO Spirit Award. When not in the classroom, Jessi enjoys watching her students on the court, the stage, and the field.
