Jacob Sherman

Jacob ShermanJacob Sherman (Valley Catholic class of 2003) teaches Physics, AP Physics B, and AP Physics C.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State in Bioengineering and—as a member of the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE) / AmeriCorps—a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland.  In 2005 and 2006 Jacob won engineering awards from Intel and the United Arab Emirate University for his work on desalination.   As part of his PACE program, Jacob taught science at Monroe Catholic School in Fairbanks, Alaska from 2009 to 2011, where he was also the school’s swim coach.  Jacob swam for Valley Catholic, played water polo at Oregon State, and now serves as an assistant swim coach for the Valiants.
