Eric Berge, who teaches upper-division Peace and Justice and freshman Introduction to Religion, earned his B.A. in Religious Studies from Gonzaga University, minoring in Philosophy and History, and editing the Religion page of The Gonzaga Bulletin. After graduation he spent a year in Jamaica with the Passionist Volunteers teaching, performing social work, and assisting the Archdiocese of Kingston, before coming to Valley in 2006. Eric also holds an M.S. in Conflict Resolution with an emphasis in Peace and Justice from Portland State University. Eric was a member of Jesuit High School’s State Championship Cross Country team in 2000. He then ran cross country and track for the Zags and is now head coach of Valley’s girls cross country team and an assistant in the track program.
