Welcome to Valley Catholic School. Back in 1886, a small group of women answered God’s call to start a religious community. Their first school, St. Mary’s Institute, opened in 1903 and since then, the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon have been striving to educate the whole child – mind, body and spirit.
Valley Catholic School is actually a community of schools, including Valley Catholic Early Learning School (infants through pre-school); Valley Catholic Elementary School (grades K-5); Valley Catholic Middle School (grades 6-8); and Valley Catholic High School (grades 9-12). In addition, Valley Catholic Music School provides private music instruction to students on our campus.
These are exciting times at Valley Catholic as we just opened our new Elementary and Middle School building in September of 2011. This state-of-the-art facility is a great addition to our beautiful, 43-acre campus and stands as a strong example of the commitment by the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon to Catholic education in this area.
